The decolorization effect of activated carbon is strongest in water and weaker in organic solvents. Generally add 0.1-3% (W/V), stirring for 30 to 60 minutes, the particle size of activated carbon has an impact on the decolorization time, and different manufacturers, different processing methods to produce activated carbon, the decolorization effect is very different. Decolorization temperature and PH should be determined by test according to the nature of the product.

(1) The general use temperature of activated carbon is 70-80 degrees is better;

(2) The decolorization effect of activated carbon is the strongest in water, and the effect is also good in strong solvents, and the effect is poor in non-polar solvents;

(3) Under normal circumstances, it is better to use under pH3~ph6 conditions;

(4) The decolorization time is generally 30-80min;

(5) There are many types and models of activated carbon, such as sugar carbon, oil carbon, etc., to choose a suitable activated carbon.

(6) After full stirring and adsorption, the use of pre-coated vacuum drum filter, pre-coated diatom soil layer, and then filtration, can get satisfactory liquid.
